Love this market, particularly because they have great kimbap in the corner of the market as well as some fast food place and bakery and Coffee Bean around one side of the market. You can pick up all your kbbq ingredients and things to make hoedeopbap. There's some warmer ready made food near the back corner where kimbap is. They also have some BCD soondubu kits, Ellenos yogurt, some probiotic drinks... just a multitude of things you can find.

Today, I bought grilled mackerel and mixed grain rice at Gaju Market and had lunch. I would like to share it because it is good value and delicious.

VERY VERY cute and underrated supermarket in Koreatown. Why? Because free parking!! I came with friends to explore the supermarket, try the kimbap, and hangout at the courtyard upstairs and it was a very fun experience. We got the beef kimbap which I thought was not bad, but not amazing. It was a little dry, but tasty nonetheless. The supermarket has your run of the mill items - and there's some restaurants inside as well! Upstairs, there's more shops, food court, and an outdoor area to eat and chill with your friends. Highly recommend that you check this place out!

The thing that distinguishes California Market from the rest of the many, many other Korean markets in the area or any markets in general, is that it's open until MIDNIGHT!! Other than that, it's your typical Korean market, and you can find most items you would expect to find at a Korean market.
